Nebraska Lily Sculpture - Hospital

Project Overview:

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

This two-story memorial sculpture, designed with local architectural firm Leo A. Daly, extends 25 feet upward from a pool of glass beads to a sun-drenched pavilion. The piece symbolizes the courageous life of a former cancer patient and hospital patron. The abstract, flower-like sculpture is constructed from translucent petals of Varia Ecoresin formed upon an aluminum structural frame. Imagined as a spiraling lily, "Nebraska" represents courage and hope, a monumental tribute in memory of a life lost.
